Model Search: The New Faces of Isossy Children

Who will be the new face of Isossy Children?

 
Isossy Children is excited to announce it's child model search.

We will be organising a photo shoot in October 2013 for our new collections and we are seeking children from diverse backgrounds to model some of our pieces.

What we are looking for:

• A baby girl who wears size 6-9 months
• A baby girl who wears size 18-24 months
• A baby boy who wears size 9-12 months
• A baby boy who wears size 18-24 months
• A girl who wears size 3-4 years
• A girl who wears 5-6 years

When & where will the shoots be conducted:

• The baby photo shoots will be held on October 24th 2013 in the daytime in the North West London area
• The toddler photo shoots will be held on October 26th 2013 in the East London (although subject to change)

What we need from you:

• 3-4 good quality low resolution images of your child including name and age to be sent to info@isossychildren.com with subject "Face of Isossy Children"
  
• Please only send in images if you fit the above criteria and are based in England.
• Please visit www.isossychildren.com to see the style of clothes and some of our previous photo shoot styles.

Isossy Children learns a new language with Bambini Lingo

We recently discovered the amazing Bambini Lingo, a business which teaches babies to learn foreign languages. What could be more global than that for a wearer of an Isossy Children piece. In this interview we meet founder, Emma Magliocchetti.

What inspired you to start your business?

I accidentally discovered that babies are naturally wired to learn languages between the age of 0-4. We had an Italian nanny & I saw my 6 month old understanding both English & Italian, some extensive research later I realised that there were not any accessible language classes in our area for babies so young.

I think we have a fantastic opportunity to make a huge difference to their future, by tapping into their natural potential when the little brains are so perfectly primed to learn languages.

What have been your favourite client experiences?

The excitement I get from parents who have been looking for something like this to come along in their area & can’t wait to get their little ones involved.

Hearing how thrilled my clients are when their little one is conversing in a foreign language whilst on holiday!

What advice would you give to someone starting up in your industry?

• If you are starting up in this or any other industry, make sure you tap into the amazing free marketing exposure that social media can offer you.
• Keep your start up costs to a minimum; modern technology has made it so easy to set up a new company for under £50!

What are your long term goals?

I would like our bambini lingo programme to be offered in Nurseries & kindergartens right across the country, so as many children as possible are being given this precious gift.

Isossy Children celebrates diversity through global clothing for children. Why do you think diversity matters for every generation?

The world is becoming a smaller place every day, the older generation need to embrace this & the younger generation should be taught & shown as much as possible about their fellow countries & their cultures.

What words of wisdom do you think every child should grow up knowing?

Follow your dreams, don’t be a sheep, become a leader & others will follow - choose to do things the way you really want & don’t be put off by everyone else’s opinions, listen of course, but then make your own mind up.

Isossy Children at the Miss Black Africa Pageant and Charity Awards 2012

Isossy children displayed their stunning children’s wear range at the Miss Black Africa Awards, the girls, boys and teen range were modelled for the event. We got some great pictures from the event for those who missed out. The lovely photos are from Shirley Harper.

Isossy Children - Wows at the Trinidad & Tobago Culture Festival

As you know, we have recently taken part in the Trinidad & Tobago Culture Festival at the Tricycle theatre. The fashion show was a great success. We displayed the latest collection for both our boys and girls range. Isossy Children’s clothing is fun, festive and has a feel good factor. That is exactly what we bought to the fashion show. We displayed our Occasion wear, which is great for parties, weddings and events. Our classic wear is more traditional and finally we displayed our play range, which was a big hit with the children modelling the clothes. The play range is perfect for children that love to play and run around but also for those children that love clothes. Why not have comfortable and fashionable clothes in your child’s wardrobe.
