PRESS RELEASE Isossy Children Introduces the SS15 Angel Collection for Girls
PRESS RELEASE
Isossy Children Introduces the SS15 Angel
Collection for Girls
As the brand enters into its 10th season, Isossy
Children continues to offer children’s style and fashion reflecting truly
global influences. The Angel Collection for girls offers colours that are warm,
vibrant and fearless. The textures reflect the fluidity of life and a bold
passion which is combined with girly softness. To juxtapose this, bold metallic
gold and silver are used together with lots of sparkly fun. We want the kids
who wear our clothes to enjoy wearing them, we want them to recognise that it
is possible for them to do anything and be anything that they want to be. We
want them to shout “I am possible”.
The Angel Collection is a soft angel fairy-like
aesthetic. Isossy Children had a lot of fun with this collection. We have
blended PVC with satin and exciting Thai cottons in corals and oranges put together
with chiffon and shimmering pyettes with bold edgy prints. We absolutely love
it!
The brand’s vision is to create fashion for
children that will inspire their confidence, creativity and self- belief as
they grow up and lie in culturally diverse global times.
Love Isossy Children.

I AM POSSIBLE "I will help to transform people's Lives" - Louie
I am possible
The
things that inspire me are my family members, because many of them have worked
hard to achieve their goals with huge success.
When
I am older I am going to be a plastic surgeon or a scientist and find cures for
fatal diseases. I want to help to
transform people's lives.
Oprah
Winfrey is my role model. She is a black
person who started with nothing to become one of the most powerful and
independent people in the world through hard work.
I
am possible because I am an achiever and a believer. I will never give up on my dreams.
I
like Isossy Children's clothing because they are adventurous, bold and smart
just like me! I feel as though I stand
out from the crowd when I'm dressed in Isossy clothing.
My
words of wisdom that all children should hear is 'What is impossible is
possible. Just believe.'

The Isossy Children 'NY-LON' Tea Party
The Isossy Children 'NY-LON' Tea Party can only be defined as a great success. We had the Press, we had the bloggers, we had the fabulous guests but most of all we had the KIDS and they were AMAZING!
People travelled from Virginia and DC to attend our event and that was very exciting for us.
The event was held at the historic Harlem Haberdashery on Lenox Ave. If you've never met the HH family or visited their store, you just have to experience it the next time you're in NYC. It's an eclectic mix of history and fashion presented with creativity. Love that joint.
This was the unveiling of our SS15 'Angel' Collection and the Isossy 'Sweat' Collection.
Malika Manning Marketing pulled the entire event together with a guest list which featured influential and fabulous people.
It was like a who's who on the children's scene. We had 'Black Celeb Kids', 'Fresh Kid Nation', the 'Trystan & Tyler' rep Tracey was there from Plush Events. Kennedy, 'the Child star' named by 'Lil Wayne' non the less was wearing the 'Angel Tye-Dye Dress' from next years SS15 Collection.
Angel Vado was there and of course Sydney (the real owner) of Harlem Haberdashery was very present wearing the 'Angel Rose' Dress and Gold Metallic Jacket, from the SS15 Collection.
Check out our video (by Bam With The Cam) on Instagram and an interview with Amanda Rabor, the founder and designer of ISOSSY CHILDREN exclusively on BlackCelebKids.com

A Billionaire before the age of 13 - Ameenha Lee Is Possible!
Isossy Children is proud to launch The “I Am Possible” campaign, for its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. “I Am Possible” is about the unification of our passion, style and individuality; empowering each and every child to say 'I Am Possible'.
The Isossy Children label creates stylish, meticulous collections drawn from African, Asian and Western influences. It's fun, it’s niche, it’s trend-setting.
When kids wear our clothes they are saying in the words of Audrey Hepburn, "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says 'I'm possible'". Ameenha Lee represents this perfectly as our brand ambassador.
Let children know their possibilities.
Let children scream 'I Am Possible'!
Ameenha is wearing The Tomboy Heart Jacket - Available to buy from The Isossy Children Online Boutique.
I AM POSSIBLE...Meet Bushra Satkhed, The 15 Year Old Author
“I Am Possible” is about the unification of our passion, style and individuality; empowering each and every child to say 'I Am Possible'. It was wonderful to discover Bushra, a young author of a book called "The Sender" from India who lives in Saudi Arabia. She has a big passion for literature.
What inspires you?
I don’t have a particular source of inspiration. Everyone I know, people I meet & everything I see motivates me in one way or another. Everyday, I learn something new. That’s what truly inspires me.
What are your dreams for the future?
I love writing and making people laugh. I’ve always been the ‘funny one’ amongst my friends and family. I just love putting a smile on someone’s face, even if I am having a bad day. I want to motivate people to chase their desires and never give up, STAY STRONG and believe in themselves.
Who is your role model and why?
Honestly, I don’t have any role models. I mean there are lots of people I admire and respect but I don’t necessarily want to be like them. I am happy with who I am, though I am not perfect.
Please finish this sentence: I am possible because….
I AM POSSIBLE because I believe in myself and God.
What words of wisdom do you think every child should grow up knowing?
Everyone has highs and lows that they have to learn from, so don’t be upset if you make mistakes. You learn from your mistakes, and you’re NEVER the ‘only one’.
People will put you down, make you feel worthless but you have to overcome it. There’s always going to be someone who hates you, but don’t give up because of them.
Believe in yourself, dream BIG and stay strong. Most importantly- HAVE FAITH IN GOD, because he knows what’s best for you.

I AM POSSIBLE...Meet TJ Dobson, The 13 Year Old Chef
The Isossy Children “I Am Possible” Campaign is about the unification of our passion, style and individuality; empowering each and every child to say 'I Am Possible'.TJ started cooking alongside his mother Marilyn from a very young age and he cooks for his family most days. In his own small way TJ has accomplished what Jamie Oliver has been trying to do for several years - engourage school kids to eat a healthy meal.TJ now has recently launched a series of cooking films called “cook with me…”He really signifies the statement "I AM POSSIBLE".
What inspired you to start your business? I wanted young
children to know that healthy cooking and eating is the way to go. I also
wanted to inspire them to get involved with cooking and just love it because if
I can do it they can as well. Sometimes when an adult says ‘you can do this’
it may not be as genuine as if I say, well, if I can, so can you.
What have been your favourite client experiences? I’ve had the opportunity to cook for several
people and the Christmas I prepared lunch at Sevacare was awesome. Also, my ‘cook with me’ films, since
they are short and accessible and people can pause the film when they cook
along with me. To know that I’m
encouraging one more person to get into the kitchen is gratifying.
What advice would you give to someone starting up in your
industry? I would tell them to find
their passion and what makes them who they are, also work hard and enjoy it.
What are your long term goals? My long term goals are,
promoting healthy eating to have a huge Chain of Schools where I can teach
children from a young age how to cook and of course a chain of
restaurants.
Isossy Children celebrates diversity through global clothing
for children. Why do you think diversity matters for every generation? I
believe in equality and equal rights to all across the board because I believe
that every person matters, regardless of age. Diversity matter for all of us. We’re very different, have different skills,
interests and opinions, for example.
With out these, we’d be very similar and that could be rather dull.
What words of wisdom do you think every child should grow up
knowing? Some words of wisdom that everyone should grow up knowing is ‘follow
your dreams and never give up’!

Isossy Children supports Jeans for Genes Day 2014!
Jeans for Genes raises money for Genetic Disorders UK and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.
Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK - that's more than 30,000 babies each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death of children aged 14 years and under.
