10-year-old Entrepreneur wins $60,000 Investment on Shark Tank for lemonade business

We love this story of 10 year old Mikaila Ulmer who appeared on Shark Tank (Think Dragon's Den for US audiences)

The young Austinite is proving that she can swim with the sharks. For the past six years, 10-year-old Mikaila Ulmer has been selling lemonade with BeeSweet Lemonade, a successful Austin-based business that just received a new source of financial backing.
Ulmer was recently a contestant on Shark Tank, an ABC reality show where start-up companies seek attention (and money) from big-wig investors. On the March 21 episode, the Austinite pitched her BeeSweet Lemonade idea to the panel — and Daymond John took the bait. The established businessman promised the young entrepreneur $60,000 and an East Coast distribution deal in exchange for a 25 percent stake in the beverage company. Isossy Children Meets Child Superstar Tahj Miles

Isossy Children launched The“I Am Possible” campaign, for its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. “I Am Possible” is about the unification of our passion, style and individuality; empowering each and every child to say 'I Am Possible'. In this interview we meet one of the UK's brightest rising child stars, Tahj Miles.

Tahj Miles
What or Who inspires you?
My family and friends inspire me. They are very supportive and happy when I succeed, it makes me want to do better just to see them smile.

And my younger cousins, when they see me on TV or on stage they get so excited!

What are your dreams for the future?
Acting and directing. I really want to go to Hollywood and do movies but also make my own films and programmes. I want to star in a Disney channel movie and write a Disney channel show before I’m 18.

Tahj @ Home!
Who is your role model and why?
Professionally it used to be Will Smith but I’ve watched some of Idris Elba’s work now ( I was too young before!) and I recently met him so he is my No 1 actor role model now, he’s from Hackney, like me and I really admire how he went to America and made his career. Personally my role model is my mum because she never gives up and always has hope for her future even though she’s old now.

Idris Elba meets Tahj Miles
I am possible because….
Anything is possible. I can do anything I want to do in life and I choose to be successful.

Why do you like Isossy Children and how does it make you feel when you wear Isossy Children clothes?
I was lucky enough to wear some isossy children suits for a magazine photoshoot. The photographer thought they made me look too grown up but I loved them.. the African print blazer and trousers made me feel like a celebrity. I’d like to wear them again for my next red carpet event.

What words of wisdom do you think every child should grow up knowing?

They can dream and those dream can become reality, they just have to work hard, don’t be scared and try until they get where they want to be.

Tahj On Set!
